Patriot Village at Emerald City USA

veteransAs a Veteran myself from 1955-57, I will help as much as I can by proposing to create a Veterans Village with approvals from the VA and Government regulations, on approximately 50 acres of land in Emerald City. The project will consist of 30 Monolithic Domes each consisting of 16 – 1 bedroom units, 16- 2 bedroom units and 4 penthouse apartments. The Domes will be completely Hurricane Dade County Approved. Each dome will be on an acre of land and will be connected by covered walkways in 6 acre groups. We will be able to house approximately 900 families.

Veterans Village will have a Satellite Medical Facility which will be part of the Homestead Hospital which is located within a few miles of the village. It will be administered by CHI, Community Health of South Florida. Emerald City will also create jobs for these veterans on site and will support in many other ways such as transportation, landscaping and technical training on new R & D energy products. Emerald City is a learning center that will be run by major corporations of which will be able to show and sell their products through our World Trade Center to be placed in the Emerald City.

Farming and the Plantagons jobs will also be available to be trained and create jobs for veterans if so desired. Security, Retail, Amusement Park, entrance booths and many other areas will be open for these veterans if they prefer and get qualified including IT and Management positions, etc.

Patriot Village at Emerald City USA

Emerald City will be located close to the Homestead Air Force reserve airport. Out of respect for the United States military, a 900 unit community will be constructed as a separate non-profit organization to house currently serving or retired military personnel. This community will be known as ‘Patriot Village’.

The houses will be constructed on one/quarter acre lots and will use the same technologies as the rest of Emerald City — monolithic domes, round in shape and hurricane resistant. The oldest forms of shelter were often round in shape, imitating nature’s environment. Now, when combined with modern materials, that shape is energy efficient and exceptionally strong. These homes will be constructed so as to meet or exceed FEMA standards for hurricane structures.

These houses will use materials that are ten times lighter than steel, but three times stronger, called Basalt and is not subject to rust, 15 to 30 PSI concrete to be well over 200 miles an hour wind loads with very high R-values.

Patriot Village will have a Satellite Medical Facility which will be part of the Homestead Hospital which is located within a few miles of the village. It will be administered by CHI, Community Health of South Florida,(or similar). Emerald City will also create jobs for these veterans on site and will support in many other ways such as transportation, landscaping and technical training on new R & D energy products.
